Salvation

Salvation is not for a select few—Jesus Christ died on the Cross to save you. He loves you so much and wants to bring you into eternal relationship with Him. But that can’t happen as long as we’re separated from Him by our sinful nature.

If you’ve never asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life, just pray this simple prayer right now. You’ll have a home in Heaven with Him after you die, and you’ll receive His Covenant Blessings of Peace, Presence, Power, Protection, and Provision here on earth:

Dear Jesus,

I need You. You loved me so much that You gave Your life for me. I believe you are God’s Son and that He raised You from the dead. Thank You for dying on the Cross for me and for providing the only way for me to have a relationship with You.

Please forgive me for all my sins, and wash me clean with Your Blood. Come and live in my heart now, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Please be the Lord of my life. Teach me how to love You and walk with You every day.

I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, God’s Word declares many incredible truths about your new identity. No matter what you may have done before being born again in Christ, in Him you are a “new creation,” saved by God’s amazing grace. Scripture says, “Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

As you begin your new life with Jesus, be sure to spend time with Him every day. Talk to Him. Read the Bible. “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7).

As you grow and mature in your new faith and your knowledge of the Bible, you will learn to recognize the Lord’s voice speaking to you in your mind and heart. He will bring you wonderful comfort and direction for your life as you gain an understanding of His Word.
