Milan, a terrorist that turned to Christ!

When our Global Media Training Institute (GMTI) returned to India, we knew based on our 2007 GMTI that the response would be amazing. We weren't disappointed!

More than 200 on-fire Believers from 19 Indian states and six other countries came to be equipped as Media Missionaries to reach their nations for Jesus Christ. Each came with great expectancy and thankfulness for this opportunity, which was provided at minimal or no cost to them.

The ripple effect of this training will reach millions with the Gospel in the coming years!

Amid poverty, many
Indian people have TV's.

One young man named Milan had recently given his life to Christ. He came to India GMTI to learn how to use media to get the Gospel to unreached people.

Milan's story is incredible—but it's only one of the amazing stories we heard from those attending GMTI. Milan was sent from his country as a terrorist to bring death and destruction to India. After being caught by the police and imprisoned, he encountered Christ and was radically transformed. Now he's released from prison and is passionate about using every possible means to share the Good News with others.

Milan goes back to the same prison every week to share the Gospel with the inmates there! GMTI gave him powerful tools to spread the Gospel through media and produce a documentary on Christianity in Asia. "Jesus saved me from sin and death," Milan says. "Now I want to share the Good News with others through videos."

Instead of spreading death and destruction as a terrorist, Milan now will use media to share a message of hope and redemption in Jesus Christ!

Ashika grew up as a Hindu, often feeling unaccepted by her slender, lighter-skinned family members. When she lost her job, family conflicts increased, and the economic downturn left her with few job options. But God had something special in mind for her. One day a friend invited Ashika to church … and Jesus revealed Himself to her:   "He gave me a vision so strong. I follow Jesus. It's who I am now. He gave me life. Then He gave me a new job. Afterwards I came to GMTI, and it's like getting a shower of blessings from Him. I've learned more than the curriculum — I've learned the art of sharing my faith. GMTI blessed us with the knowledge and inspiration and motivation to step forward … to come out of the box and do something really good—what God wants us to do. GMTI is definitely going to change my life!

You're Reaching India…and Beyond
	India remains a desperate place. In many areas, the stench of poverty is overwhelming. Human feces is a common sight. Sick people lie on street corners, and "dead carts" haul away the bodies of those who died during the night. Yet even amid the terrible conditions, televisions blare in almost every hut, dwelling, and public place. From bus stops and train stations to market places and town squares, the influence of TV is evident.
Our "IMPACT INDIA" outreach in 2010 blanketed the nation with TV broadcasts of our most powerful evangelistic specials, translated into India's major languages. Millions of people were given access to the Gospel for the very first time! Thank you, Inspiration Partners!
