Perhaps you’re at a place in your life today when you’re crying out to God, as David once did: “Restore to me the joy of your salvation!” (Psalm 51:12) God heard David’s prayer, and He will hear yours as well.

Sometimes the cares and busyness of life rob us of our peace and joy. Instead of the abundant life God intends for us, we experience drudgery and discouragement. Life becomes a rat race, and we lose sight of our calling and purpose in the Lord.

If you’re feeling this weariness today, take heart: “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Galatians 6:9). If you have been Sowing Good Seeds in your life, God promises that your Harvest will come in due season. Don’t give up! He will strengthen you and restore your joy.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, we need Your strength and joy today. We cast off our burdens and cares, asking that You would supernaturally live Your life through us. Fill us with the power of the Holy Spirit today, and glorify Jesus in our lives. In His name. Amen.
