Although New Year’s resolutions are sometimes helpful, my prayer for you today is that you will have a New Year’s REVOLUTION! Instead of just changing a few outward symptoms of your life, God wants to give you a transformation that changes EVERY area of your life! That’s why Jesus tells us, “Behold, I make ALL things new!” (Revelation 21:5)
God wants to be glorified in your life this year! He wants you to be “filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God” (Philippians 1:11). But anytime we want to see positive changes in our lives, three things need to happen:
· We must truly see the need.
· We must see God’s strategy for change.
· We must persist and be willing to pay the price for the new lifestyle we seek.
Let’s pray together:
Lord, we are so excited about the New Beginnings that are available to this precious child of Yours. Encourage their heart today with a new vision for their life. Thank You that the transformation comes by the power of Your Holy Spirit as we fully submit to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
