God can bring you out of the emotional “valley” you are presently experiencing! Look at this wonderful promise for those who pass through a “Valley of Weeping” in their lives:
When they walk through the Valley of Weeping,
It will become a place of refreshing springs,
Where pools of blessing collect after the rains! (Psalm 84:6)
As we pray today, picture the Lord replacing your depression with a place of “refreshing springs”…a place where “pools of blessing” collect after the rains!
Father, we thank You today for being present with us always—not only on the mountaintops of life, but also in the valleys. We ask You today to replace our depression with the refreshing and joy that come from being in Your Presence. We choose to cast aside our depressing thoughts and allow you to replace them with Your peace. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
